Intramurals

Typically offered in the first half of Spring Semester, CSP Intramurals has hosted 3v3 and 5v5 co-ed leagues. Games are held on campus in the Gangelhoff center on Tuesday and Thursday nights after 7:00pm. 3v3 is held in half-court format while 5v5 is held in full-court format. There is a 6 week league with a championship night (or two!) and celebration for all who attend. The winning team earns a CSP Intramural Champion T-Shirt.

Typically offered in the very beginning of Fall Semester and the very end of Spring Semester, CSP Intramurals has hosted co-ed sand tournaments as soon as school starts. We have limited sunshine and warmth, so we have to move quick! Teams must be at least 4 people and can have as many as 6 on the court at a time. Free agents are always welcome as well. All volleyball is played rally scoring with three games played to complete a set. Games are held on campus in our Knoll. Sand volleyball is a great way to enjoy the warm weather, make friends, and stay active!

Typically offered in the second half of Fall Semester and the first half of Spring Semester, CSP Intramurals has hosted 6v6 co-ed leagues. These leagues have historically been our most popular, with a wide range of skills, new players, returning players, and even an occasional staff and faculty team! All volleyball is played rally scoring with three games played to complete a set. Your overall game record (not set record) is used for post-season rankings. Games are held on campus in the Gangelhoff center on Tuesday and Thursday nights after 7:00pm. Each team has league play for approximately 6 weeks followed by a playoff week and a championship celebration for all who attend. The winning team earns a CSP Intramural Champion T-Shirt.  This is a league you won’t want to miss!

Typically offered in the first half of Spring Semester, CSP Intramurals have hosted 7v7 men’s leagues, 7v7 co-ed leagues, and 5v5 co-ed leagues. Games are held on campus outside of our Athletic Performance Center on varying nights after 7:00pm. Nets are left up throughout the fall seasons, so teams can practice and play at all times! We have seen everything from champions decided on penalty kicks to high scoring games in the snow! The winning team earns a CSP Intramural Champion T-Shirt. Grab your cleats for this league!

Typically offered in the second half of Fall Semester or the first half of Spring Semester, CSP Intramurals has hosted 6v6 co-ed leagues for indoor soccer. Games are held on campus outside inside our Athletic Performance Center on varying nights after 7:00pm. This facility is beautiful and completely indoors. The field is compact making passing and finesse the key to succeed in this league! Each team has league play to determine seeding for a fun championship night. The winning team earns a CSP Intramural Champion T-Shirt.

Typically offered once or twice in an academic year, CSP Intramurals has hosted one-day co-ed spikeball tournaments for singles and doubles. For this event, just show up! We will write down team names or assign you a teammate based on your skill level if you’re a free agent. Then, we make a bracket and the games begin!! In the winter, games are held on campus inside of our Athletic Performance Center or on our turf once the winter dome is up! In the warmth, games are held outside of the Chapel. The winner or winning team earns a CSP Intramural Champion T-Shirt.

Typically offered once an academic year, CSP Intramurals has hosted one-day co-ed badminton tournaments for singles and doubles. For this event, just show up! We will assign you a teammate based on your skill level, introduce you to other students interested in learning, and play double elimination tournament games before crowning a champion. Games are held on campus inside of our Athletic Performance center or in our basketball courts in the Gangelhoff Center. These are typically held in winter and include music, food, fans, and of course lots of fun! The winner earns a CSP Intramural Champion T-Shirt.

Typically offered once an academic year, CSP Intramurals has hosted one-day co-ed kickball tournaments. For this event, just show up! We will assign you to a team based on your skill level, introduce you to other students interested in learning, and play a big kickball game (or several games, depending on numbers) before crowning a champion. Games are held on campus inside of our Athletic Performance center or on our turf once the winter dome is up! Grab a buddy or come alone – you are sure to meet people and make friends playing kickball! The winning team earns a CSP Intramural Champion T-Shirt.

Typically offered once an academic year, CSP Intramurals has hosted one-day co-ed dodgeball tournaments. For this event, just show up or bring a team! If you do not have a team, we will assign you to a team based on your skill level, introduce you to other students interested in learning, and play tournament-style dodgeball before crowning a champion. Games are held on campus inside of our Athletic Performance center or in the Gangelhoff Center! Build a team or come alone – you are sure to meet people and make friends playing dodgeball! The winning team earns a CSP Intramural Champion T-Shirt.

Typically offered during the day, skill challenges provide an opportunity to participate with CSP Intramurals without the commitment. Skills challenges can take anywhere from 30 seconds to 3 minutes, so you can participate as you are walking by outside of the Chapel, in the tunnel, or wherever a skill challenge pops up. We have thrown frisbees in buckets, footballs in garbage cans, hit marshmallows with golf clubs, and even threw axes – you never know what could be next!
