The BA in Mathematics at CSP has a rigorous course schedule that emphasizes critical thinking, complex problem-solving, computer system mastery, and research methodology to maximize career preparedness.
Students will learn to use technology, including computer algebra systems, geometry modeling software, spreadsheets, 3D printers, and computer programming to model and solve complex problems that are applicable in the real world. Many students advance their knowledge and earn honors by conducting independent research projects that are presented at research conferences. Another way for those in this degree path to branch out includes the popular Tri-Pi math club that holds on-campus social events.
