The journalism minor is perfect for those who want to continuously learn, discover, and share their writing with the world. An independent press is the “fourth” branch of government that ensures a fair and open democracy. Nothing short of the freedom of our country is at stake and our journalists are there.
Student journalists work on CSP's very own student newspaper, The Sword, and report about all the news and events taking place on our fair campus. In our journalism courses, students learn how to discover new trends, interview stars, and uncover scandals. These skills of fearless research, concise writing, and meeting deadlines open up career paths in publishing, public relations, producers, social media, and anywhere you see words.
