Upon completing the BA in Chemistry program at CSP, our graduates have a firm grasp on the use of experimental methods and instrumentation used in chemistry. Our graduates’ career paths are plentiful, as their well-rounded experiences at Concordia prepare them for any chemistry-related position.
CSP’s all-encompassing approach to chemistry ensures students will be ready to make an impact in their careers. Coursework includes organic chemistry, biochemistry, thermodynamics, physics, and more studies.
From your introduction to the program to your graduation day, you’ll explore and learn advanced scientific methodology and terminology. The major offers the opportunity to build a comprehensive skill set that promotes lifelong learning and growth. You’ll learn how to think critically and quantitatively, reason scientifically, and understand experimental methods, techniques, and instrumentation utilized in chemistry.
Careers in chemistry range from lab-centric roles such as chemical technician, environmental chemist, and organic chemist, to academic roles in teaching. Many postgraduate options are available as well, all the way up to the doctoral level.
