PROGRAM details
Experience an immersive Art Education program at CSP. Gain a technical and practical understanding of concentrations like graphic design, printmaking, drawing, and sculpturing. Education courses focus on teaching art to all levels, effectively connecting with students, and building a successful learning environment. You’ll learn how to translate visual mediums in a way that encourages and excites learners.
Choosing Concordia St. Paul also means taking advantage of the vibrant Twin Cities arts scene. Located less than 10 minutes from both the Minneapolis Institute of Art and the Walker Art Center, you’ll never lack inspiration. CSP is also home to two on-campus art galleries.
Over the last 30 years, 95% of Concordia’s Art Education graduates who pursued education careers landed full-time teaching positions. Those who choose to earn their master’s can also become university professors, studio art directors, art managers, and more.
