Matt Ryan

Matt Ryan was born in Marion, Indiana, where he was formerly a criminal defense attorney. He is the author of Read This Or You’re Dead To Me. His work has won a Minnesota State Arts Board grant, appeared in numerous journals, and has been nominated for one Best of the Net and three Pushcart Prizes. He is the fiction editor for Best New Writing and Manslaughter Review. He is also the former publisher/editor of the poetry press, Lowbrow Press. He teaches writing to a wide variety of students, from freshmen to graduate students.
