Art Director at Allianz Life
Jeffrey Yang earned his B.F.A. in Graphic Design from Concordia University, St. Paul in 2019. Yang now oversees design projects full-time at Allianz Life as their Art Director.
Concordia St. Paul’s graphic design program mirrors real-life scenarios in the workplace, prompting students to develop helpful skills for their careers. “CSP prepared me to speak about my ideas. Communication, preparation, and presenting work are often included in my day-to-day tasks, and I’m very glad to have had the opportunity to hone those skills while at CSP.”
Additionally, Yang’s extracurricular experiences helped prepare him for his career as well. “I was involved in CHUSA as their Public Relations coordinator. It definitely impacted my college experience by preparing me for collaboration, optimization, & growth management.” CSP offers over 35 on-campus clubs where students can learn leadership, growth, and interpersonal skills.
Aside from academics, Yang appreciated the rich on-campus lifestyle. “I lived on campus during my last year at CSP. Probably the best decision of my life as I got to live with roommates, hang out with friends, and attend on-campus events.”
