Concordia University, St. Paul, Sets Multiple Enrollment Records for Fall 2023

On the heels of a record-setting start to the fall 2023 term, the official student enrollment census within Concordia University confirms multiple new records. With negligible reduction since the first day of term, Concordia St. Paul set a new record for overall enrollment, officially clocking in at 5,819 students across CSP (traditional 4-year undergraduate programming) and CSP Global (online undergraduate and graduate programming).

The new record marks an increase of approximately 300 students compared to enrollment for 2021 and 2022. Current enrollment is also nearly 2,200 students higher than CSP’s total enrollment from a decade ago.

For comparison, many peer institutions – private and public – have been combatting steep declines in enrollment during this same time period. Concordia St. Paul has focused on being accessible to students who want to pursue a high-value college education. The university strives to make higher education affordable while providing career-relevant education opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students.

The university is seeing records across CSP and CSP Global:

• 2,173 students are now enrolled in master’s degree programs through our CSP Global division (New record).
• 393 students are enrolled in doctoral programs through CSP Global (New record).
• 540 new freshmen and transfer students enrolled in CSP traditional undergraduate (New record).
